David Appleton, is a Dominican singer, musician and composer raised in Mexico, where he discovered his talent for music at the age of 10. In his journey as a professional in the industry he has released several albums such as: Sol, playa y arena, No Soy Poeta and Opinión, which have been very well received by the public.
David Appleton has not only written his own songs for himself but is also the composer and performer of the official theme song for the CARIBBEAN BASEBALL SERIES “Caribe”. He has also participated in Got Talent Spain and La Voz España demonstrating a bold stage presence and connection with the audience.
The song “EL AMANTE” is based on a true story, it is a married couple that begins to have difficulties because the husband begins to neglect his partner, in those neglects the lady of the house begins to flirt with the worker of the house and they start a relationship in secret but, the wife tells the worker that the only condition that they can be together is if he decides to stay in the shadows because she does not want to risk the economic status she has even though she is no longer in love with her husband.
I think this work will give a special touch to my catalog because of the colors and the musical functions, I made a trip to the classic R&B and added a touch of Godspell without losing the modernity, the craziest thing about this style is that I did it in Spanish. I think it is a song that will be enjoyed very much (I already do) and I can even say that it is something innovative for a Spanish singer.
